BetterNotes ("the app") is a private note-taking application developed by TachyonDev Net. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All content you create — notes, checklists, RSVP readers, folders, drawings, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device and never sent to any external server.

This data is never uploaded, synced to a cloud service, or shared with third parties.
The app offers an optional biometric lock feature (fingerprint or face unlock) to protect specific notes. This uses your device's built-in biometric system (Android BiometricPrompt API). No biometric data is accessed, stored, or transmitted by the app.
BetterNotes offers an optional premium upgrade via Google Play Billing. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. The developer does not receive or store any payment card information. Your purchase status is stored locally on your device to unlock premium features.
The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device identifiers.
BetterNotes does not request any Android permissions. The app does not access the internet, camera, microphone, location, or contacts.
BetterNotes is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If the app's data practices change in a future update, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
