Pre-Registration Reward – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the pre-registration reward offered by TachyonDev Net ("the developer") for the BetterNotes application ("the app") on Google Play. By pre-registering, you agree to these terms.

1. The Reward

Users who pre-register BetterNotes on Google Play before its public launch date will receive Lifetime Premium access at no charge. Lifetime Premium unlocks:

• Unlimited RSVP reader notes (free tier is limited to 3)
• All colour themes — Rose, Sky, and Green
• Note locking via biometric or device PIN

This reward is a one-time product grant, not a subscription. No recurring charge will ever apply to this reward.

2. Eligibility

• You must have a valid Google account and pre-register via the official Google Play listing for BetterNotes.
• One reward per Google account. Duplicate accounts or fraudulent pre-registrations will be disqualified.
• You must download and open the app after its public launch to activate the reward.

3. How the Reward is Delivered

Google Play automatically credits the Lifetime Premium reward to qualifying pre-registered users once the app launches. No purchase, payment, promo code, or manual redemption is required. The reward is tied to the Google account used to pre-register and cannot be transferred to another account.

4. Claim Window

The pre-registration window closes at the app's public launch date. You must download and open the app within 14 days of the public launch date to activate your reward. Rewards not claimed within this window may be forfeited.

5. Meaning of "Lifetime"

"Lifetime" refers to the supported lifetime of BetterNotes on Google Play — that is, for as long as the developer continues to publish and maintain the app. If the developer discontinues the app, at least 30 days' written notice will be provided via this page and/or the Google Play listing.

6. General Conditions

• The reward has no cash value and is non-transferable.
• The reward cannot be exchanged for any other product or service.
• Void where prohibited by applicable law.
• The developer reserves the right to disqualify users who abuse, manipulate, or fraudulently exploit the pre-registration system.
• The developer reserves the right to modify or cancel this reward with reasonable notice (see Section 11).

7. United States

• No purchase necessary to participate or receive the reward.
• Open to US residents aged 13 or older.
• Void where prohibited by law.
• This offer complies with applicable Federal Trade Commission (FTC) disclosure requirements. The reward is free with no conditions of purchase.

8. European Union

• This reward involves no monetary consideration from the consumer; accordingly, the EU right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU) does not apply.
• EU consumers retain all statutory rights under applicable national consumer protection law.
• Complaints may be submitted to your competent national consumer authority or via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
• This offer does not involve processing of personal data by the developer beyond what Google Play collects under its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

9. Australia

• This reward is administered in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
• This is a free, non-chance-based digital reward. No promotional permit is required under NSW, SA, or ACT trade promotion lottery legislation as this reward is not determined by chance.
• Statutory consumer guarantees under the ACL apply to the app and its features.

10. South Africa

• This reward is offered in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
• The reward is presented honestly and is not misleading. There is no risk of financial loss to the consumer.
• Consumers have the right to receive the reward as described if all eligibility conditions are met.

11. Mexico

• This reward is offered in accordance with the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor (Federal Consumer Protection Law) and applicable regulations issued by PROFECO (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor).
• The reward is free of charge and involves no obligation of purchase or payment by the consumer.
• The reward is presented honestly and is not misleading or deceptive under Mexican consumer law.
• Consumers retain all rights granted under applicable Mexican law.

12. Other Countries

If you are participating from a country not specifically listed above, the following general terms apply:

• This reward is offered in good faith and is free of charge with no obligation of purchase.
• The reward is subject to the laws and regulations of your country of residence. Where local law provides consumer protections, those protections are not excluded by these terms.
• The developer makes no representation that this offer is available or lawful in all jurisdictions. If participation is restricted or prohibited in your jurisdiction, you should not participate.

13. Changes to These Terms

The developer may modify or withdraw these Terms & Conditions with at least 7 days' notice posted at this URL. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If the reward is withdrawn after pre-registration has already occurred, users who pre-registered before the withdrawal notice will still receive the reward.
